At approximately 9:30 A.M. on June the 23rd of 2009, my niece and I were arriving at the bottom of the Sacre Couer and several black men stopped us and prevented us from going up the stairs. One grabbed my arm and kept holding my arm and telling me to come with him. No one, not the shop keepers, no tourists came to our aid. I managed to get my arm away from him, and only because several other tourists arrived, that he stopped following us. We had been excited to see Montmartre at first, but now we have a very bad memory of it. My name is Dr. Francis Ibarra, I live in the U.S. and sometimes in the Cévennes, near Alès. This is an incredible assault and almost a kidnapping and these young black men are quite aggressive with the tourists and quite frightening. Pourquoi les deux librairies MOntmartroises sont-elles aussi peu ouvertes aux nouveaux auteurs, alors qu'Atelier 9 accorde aux écrivains un accueil sympathique et les invite à des dédicaces très fructueuses pour le libraire et l'auteur?

Montmartre est l'endroit mondial de la culture et de l'amour, en plus de compter avec sa belle église du Sacré Coeur. Que le Dieu Bendiga à Montmartre, à son tas historique, à sa musique, à son Moulin Rouge et à la belle Edith Piaf et ses grands musiciens et peintres français!
