Exhibition “À moi de jouer” by Clara Saracho de Almeida

Space is the most important element of the exhibtition À moi de jouer (My Turn to play) at the gallery art-exprim.

The plastic artist Clara Saracho de Almeida uses two locations, the Portughese village of Vilarinho da Furna and the exhibition room, and turns them into playgrounds in which visitors become actors.

A playful reflection starts on movement, space and perception.

In the context of the exhibition, many guided tours and workshops are given to visitors.

Clara Saracho de Almeida is a plastic artist working on many substrates : sculpture, photography, video, installations and scenic disposals. She frequently uses the exbitions rooms in her work, therefore encouraging a corporal involvement.

This artist created many in situ installations since 2014 and won the Thaddaeus Ropac Prize in 2015 which helped her develop her work in Japan. Since she started, she has exhibited in many places around the world.
