The "République de Montmartre" has been created on May, 7th 1921.The society continues its charitable and cultural actions and keeps the ideology left by Poulbot, Willette, Forain, Neumont et Joë Bridge. Thanks to the charitable work of its members, citizens, deputies, consuls, ambassadors and secretary of state, the organization gives its benefits for charitable societies as organizations against disadvantaged childhood or ones which work for the connection of artists. The members continues the traditions by wearing the red scarf, the cloak and the black hat which remains of Aristide Bruant, immortalized by Toulouse-Lautrec.
